What is an Air-to-Water Heat Pump?
An air-to-water heat pump is an energy-efficient, electric heating system that extracts thermal energy from outdoor air to heat water for residential heating radiators or underfloor and hot taps. We install the Arctic EVI R32 Air-to-Water Heat Pump. The EVI (Enhanced Vapor Injection) technology extracts more heat at colder temperatures (-35C/-31F) and produces better efficiency across the heating season. EVI technology increases performance efficiency by 27-30%.
What is Hydronic Heating and Cooling?
Hydronic heating and cooling is a system that uses water as a heat transfer medium to provide both heating and cooling. In heating mode, water is heated and circulated through pipes to radiators or underfloor heating systems, distributing warmth efficiently. For cooling, chilled water is circulated to absorb heat from the indoor environment, providing a comfortable climate. This system is known for its energy efficiency and ability to maintain consistent temperatures throughout a space.
